Jakarta, October 3, 2023 – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM), member of Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) – the State-Owned Enterprise Holding of the Mining Industry, received Good Mining Practice Award 2023 initiated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) of the Republic of Indonesia. The award was held in commemoration of the 78th Mining and Energy Anniversary on Friday, September 29, 2023.
In his speech, Minister of MEMR, Arifin Tasrif said that the Good Mining Practice Award 2023 was a form of the Government's appreciation for Mining Business Entities and Mining Service Companies that have tried to implement the Good Mining Practice.
ANTAM's Director of Operations and Production, Hartono said:

The Government's appreciation through the Good Mining Practice Award shows how ANTAM consistently implements mining and business governance following good mining practices and applicable regulations. ANTAM continues to implement sustainable operating practices, prioritizing safety, be environmentally friendly, and synergize with all stakeholders to provide the best benefits for the State, shareholders, and society.”
In this award, ANTAM received 14 awards in the form of 1 Trophy, 1 “Aditama” rating, 2 “Utama” ratings, and 10 “Pratama” ratings for its commitment to implementing good mining activities through its Business Units and Subsidiary.
Through the Gold Mining Business Unit, ANTAM received one Trophy and “Aditama” ratings in the Mineral and Coal Mining Environmental Management category, one “Utama” ratings in the Mineral and Coal Conservation Management category, and one “Pratama” ratings in the Mineral and Coal Mining Technical Management category.
The Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit received three “Pratama” ratings in the Mineral and Coal Mining Technical Management category, Mineral and Coal Mining Environmental Management category and Standardization Management and Mineral and Coal Mining Business Services category.
In addition, the North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit won three “Pratama” ratings in the Mineral and Coal Mining Safety Management category, Mineral and Coal Mining Environmental Management category, and Standardization Management and Mineral and Coal Mining Services Business category.
Meanwhile, the West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit received two “Pratama” ratings in the Mineral and Coal Mining Safety Management category and Mineral and Coal Mining Environmental Management category.
ANTAM's Subsidiary Entity, PT Gag Nickel, also received one “Utama” ratings in the Standardization Management and Mineral and Coal Mining Business Services category and one “Pratama” ratings in the Mineral and Coal Mining Environmental Management category.
The ranking of awards from highest to lowest includes Trophy, “Aditama” Award, “Utama” Award, and “Pratama” Award.
