ANTAM's gold and refinery business segment consists of gold commodity, silver and precious metals processing and refinery services. Gold and silver commodity of ANTAM was produced through mining activity and gold ore smelting to dore bullion. ANTAM currently mines gold ore from its underground gold mines in Pongkor, West Java, operated by ANTAM’s Gold Mining Business Unit. Since June 2022, the gold mine in Cibaliung managed by PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya has started to enter the post-mining period

ANTAM’s bauxite commodity is produced at the Tayan bauxite mine, which is operated by the West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit. The mined bauxite is fed for consumption at the Tayan CGA plant in Tayan, West Kalimantan. The bauxite mine is conducted with open pit methods. After the bauxite ore is mined, the ore is washed and screened to be transported to the Tayan CGA plant, which is located next to the mine area and sold to third party customers.

Geomin Unit is one of five operational units of PT ANTAM Tbk ("ANTAM"). Geomin Unit has the main responsibility of managing and developing exploration activities as well as finding new mineral reserves and resources. Established in the late 1970s, the Geomin Unit has more than 30 years of experience in mining exploration activities notably in valuable minerals such as nickel, bauxite, gold and iron ore. Geomin Unit has conducted exploration activities throughout Indonesia, from the east through the west region of the minerals-rich achipelago.

ANTAM’s nickel operating segment is comprised of ferronickel and nickel ore sales. Ferronickel production originated from the Company’s Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit. Production of nickel ore originated from the nickel mine in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi which was operated by the Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit, nickel mine in North Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi which was operated by North Konawe Nickel Mining Business Unit, nickel mine in East Halmahera which was operated by the North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit, and nickel mine in Gag Island, West Papua, operated by ANTAM’s subsidiary, PT Gag Nikel.
