ANTAM Receives Best Overall Sustainability Reporting Awards 2015

Jakarta, 17 December 2015 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX-ATM; IDX-ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce that the company has received two awards in the Sustainability Reporting Award(SRA) 2015. ANTAM received first rank in Best Sustainability Report in Mining and Metal category and Best Overall Sustainability Report 2015 The event was held in Hotel Mulia, Jakarta on 15 December 2015. The awards were received by ANTAM’s General Affairs and CSR Director I Made Surata.

ANTAM’s General Affairs and CSR Director I Made Surata said:
" These awards recognize ANTAM’s corporate responsibility and environmental management report which was written in accordance with international reporting standard. The report reflects the company’s commitment of transparency, accountability as well as proper concern toward sustainable development. "

In SRA 2015, 37 companies participated in the sustainability competition, including 4 companies from overseas and one NGO from Papua. The criteria for assessment includes conformity with GRI-G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.

The SRA 2015 was in its eleventh year and comprised of 7 categories: (1) metal and mineral mining, (2) energy, oil and gas, (3) manufacturing, (4) infrastructure, (5) financial services, (6) overseas and (7) first-time report.
