ANTAM and The Indonesian Air Force Atang Sendjaja Air Base Conduct Free Vaccinations in Pongkor

Jakarta, October 8, 2021 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM), member of Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) – the State-Owned Enterprise Holding of the Mining Industry, with The Indonesian Air Force Atang Sendjaja Air Base have worked together to carry out COVID-19 vaccinations for 4,675 people around the operational area of the Gold Mining Business Unit in Pongkor. The COVID-19 vaccination was carried out in two stages, September 21-23, 2021 and September 27 - October 6, 2021 for the community around Nanggung and Kemang sub-districts Bogor Regency, West Java.

ANTAM's Corporate Secretary, Yulan Kustiyan conveyed that vaccination in Nanggung and Kemang sub-districts aims to increase herd immunity for the community.

"We hope that the COVID-19 Vaccination program with The Indonesian Air Force Atang Sendjaja Air Base can help establish herd immunity for the community, especially those who participate in vaccinations, to be more productive and protected in carrying out their activities," said Yulan.

Vaccination activities around the Company's operational areas which are carried out regularly are the Company's commitment in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), especially the implementation of the Superior Synergy Pillar in the Health sector. As of October 6, 2021, 17,083 people around ANTAM's operational areas have received free vaccinations carried out by the Company in synergy with relevant stakeholders.

"ANTAM is always committed to support the Government in accelerating the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of which is through vaccination programs that are carried out routinely in each of the Company's operational areas. Of course, this program can run well thanks to the synergy with the Indonesian Air Force Atang Sendjaja Air Base and the local government," added Yulan.

In addition to the vaccination program, ANTAM has also made other contributions in accelerating the handling of COVID-19, such as assistance with medical equipment in several hospitals, some basic needs, as well as protection needs such as masks and hand sanitizer to the public so that they are disciplined in implementing health protocols.

"We believe that the cooperation and synergy of all parties in launching the COVID-19 vaccination program can help the Government's efforts in accelerating the handling of the pandemic in this country, so that we can be more protected," concluded Yulan.
