ANTAM Facilitate Capacity Building Training for Dairy Farmers

Jakarta, August 16, 2024 – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM), member of PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) (MIND ID) - The State-Owned Enterprise of Mining Industry, had implemented the capacity building program for dairy farmers in Cimahi, West Java on August 1, 2024. The activity involved 46 dairy farmers as foster partners of ANTAM to optimizing the productivity of the farmers.

ANTAM's Corporate Secretary, Syarif Faisal Alkadrie, said:
“As a sustainable company, ANTAM always strives to optimize the potential of the community, including through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. The capacity building activities for dairy farmers carried out by ANTAM are expected to provide benefits, especially in efforts to increase the dairy cattle population, optimize production and productivity of the participated farmers.”

In this capacity building training, the dairy farmers received materials on cattle maintenance and health, healthy milk standardization, and entrepreneurship skill improvement. In addition, the farmers also received supporting facilities to increase the productivity of cattle activities such as buckets, carpets for cattle, and milk cans provided to three village cooperatives units where foster farmers enter. The Company also provides capital loans for the Micro and Small Business Funding Program to increase the foster partners likelihood independence.  

As effort to increase the productivity and population of dairy cattle are expected to be able to achieve high competitiveness, and can fulfil domestic milk demand, which is increasing in line with population growth and the level of public nutritional awareness.
