Synopsis One factor that affects the diversity of bird flocks is the condition of the vegetation structure. The structure and composition of vegetation in an area are essential for bird life, such as a place to live, rest, forage, shelter from predators, and breed. It is crucial to analyze the fauna of birds in the ecosystem to determine the biological response to environmental changes, especially due to environmental quality degradation. Therefore, analyzing the structure of bird flocks can provide an overview of a community's diversity so that the community's condition in a habitat can be estimated. PT ANTAM Tbk Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit conducted an inventory of birds in the area of operation, namely in the area of 4o 12' 20.55” – 4o 11' 6.79” SL dan 121o 35' 26.94” – 1210 36' 59.75” EL in the area of Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province.
