ANTAM And Attorney General Office Signs MoU On Legal Advocacy Of Civil Law

Jakarta, July 27th, 2011 – PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ANTAM; ASX – ATM; IDX–ANTM), is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, on Monday, July 25, 2011. The MoU was signed by ANTAM’s Pre-sident Director, Alwin Syah Lubis and the Solicitor General of Civil and State Administration, Burhanuddin, in Jakarta.

Under the MoU, the Attorney General Office will provide advocacy services to ANTAM, including legal mentoring, mediation and legal protection in Civil and State Administrative Law.

ANTAM's President Director, Alwin Syah Lubis, said:

“The MoU is one of ANTAM’s commitments to comply with the prevailing regulations in all aspects of the company’s activities. Through the cooperation, the Attorney General Office will assist  us in providing consultancy and advocacy services, especially in Civil and State Administrative Law.”

During the event, the Directors of ANTAM’s subsidiaries, Head of ANTAM’s Business Units and Head of ANTAM’s Projects also sign similar MoUs with the Offices of the High Prosecutor General of the West Java, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, West Kalimantan and Banten Province.
