Jakarta, March 19, 2021 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) announced that the Company had signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Public Prosecutor Office of the Republic of Indonesia. Since last February, the signing of the Cooperation Agreement was conducted between the High Prosecutor's Office and District Attorney and ANTAM’s General Manager of the Unit/Business Unit in the Company's operational area.
ANTAM's Human Resources Director, Luki Setiawan Suardi, stated:
“This year, ANTAM has renewed its agreement with the Public Prosecutor Office of the Republic of Indonesia as a form of the Company's commitment to implementing GCG (Good Corporate Governance). This collaboration was a follow-up to the Cooperation Agreement with the Junior Attorney General for Civil and State Administration (JAM DATUN) in December last year. Through an agreement made with the High Prosecutor's Office and District Attorney of the operational area, the Company will receive legal assistance, legal considerations, recommendations, and increase technical competence in civil and state administration.”
ANTAM has signed a cooperation agreement represented by the Unit/Business Unit's General Manager with the Head of the High Prosecutor's Office in West Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, and West Java Provinces. The signing of the collaboration was also carried out with the Head of the District Prosecutor's Office of South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Bogor Regency, Sanggau Regency, Mempawah Regency, Landak Regency, Kolaka Regency and Konawe Regency.
The signing of the cooperation agreement was also conducted with the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, held on March 5, between the General Manager of Precious Metal Processing and Refinery Business Unit and General Manager of Geomin & Technology Development Unit with the Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office. With the cooperation with the High Prosecutor's Office and District Attorney aimed to increase the implementation of corporate governance compliance in accordance with Indonesia's legal norms.
