Jakarta, January 18, 2011 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX: ATM; IDX: ANTM; ANTAM) and the Indonesian Army Special Forces Command (Kopassus) are pleased to announce the opening of Headquarters Detachment housing complex.
The opening of the housing complex follows the renovation of the complex for Kopassus families located at Cijantung, East Jakarta. ANTAM’s assistance for renovation is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programs. The renovated complex consists of 10 housing units with an area of 90m2 each.
ANTAM’s President Director, Alwin Syah Lubis said, “As a state owned enterprise, our contribution to the renovation program is part of our CSR inititatives to provide housing assistance to the families of Indonesian Army. Previously ANTAM has also cooperated with the Indonesian Armed Forces in similar CSR programs."
Kopassus Commanding General, Major General Lodewijk F. Paulus said, "ANTAM's CSR assistance is valuable in providing housing for Army soldiers and their families. We are confident this cooperation will continue in the future to support other government programs."
