Jakarta, December 4, 2019 – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) announces that Company has distributed the Partnership Program (PK) Funds for second phase as a part of Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR) on November 2019, coincided with National Heroes’ Day. As much as Rp7.06 billion of PK fund was distributed to 206 Micro and Small Business Entrepreneur (UMK). The second phase of PK fund distribution is also inline with Company’s program on community economic empowerment, especially around Company’s operational area.
ANTAM's Human Resources Director, Luki Setiawan Suardi, said:
"Supporting on community economic empowerment is one of ANTAM’s CSR initiative to promote community economic wellness and independence. Partnership and Community Stewardship Program (PKBL) is part of ANTAM Community Development Program besides the Post Mining Activity. The aim of Partnership Program is directed to support community empowerment initiative, meanwhile the implementation of Stewardship Program mainly focusing on community service and empowerment. Through the Company’s PKBL program initiatives, it will create and promote the positive stimulus on community business incubator development."
The fund distribution of Partnership Program Phase 2 is a continuation from the first phase activity which was conducted on July 2019. The ANTAM’s Partnership Program was running in all Company’s Business Units area, which covers North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit, Pongkor Gold Mining Business Unit, West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit, and Head Office.
Several community business sector and entrepreneur were targeting on PK fund distribution such as trade sectors (114 entrepreneur); agriculture sectors (4); livestock sectors (16); service sectors (33); industry sectors (16); plantation sectors (3); and fisheries sectors (20).
In addition to distribute loan assistance, ANTAM also helped strengthen the fostered partners by implementing training and coaching like business management, business motivation, benchmarking to the successful entrepreneurs also product opportunities and access promotions and market expansion through various exhibitions.
