Jakarta, November 13, 2024 – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) or ANTAM announced that the Company has conducted the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) Year 2024 on November 13, 2024 at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Hotel, Jakarta.
The EGMS is conducted in accordance with the proposal of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE’s) as ANTAM Series A Dwiwarna Shareholder, with reference to Letter the Minister of SOE’s No. SR-462/MBU/09/2024 dated September 24, 2024.
In the EGMS Year 2024, ANTAM also conveyed its performance during the first nine months of 2024 (9M24). ANTAM’s President Director, Nico Kanter said that during the period, ANTAM has managed to maintain stable operational and financial performance, despite the global economic challenges and geopolitical uncertainty.
“We continue to optimize the production and sales performance of main commodities such as nickel, gold and bauxite. Despite challenges from global economic conditions and geopolitical tensions, ANTAM managed to record positive operational and financial performance during the period,” Nico said.
Nico said ANTAM has implemented strategic innovations and cost efficiencies to maintain competitiveness amid market volatility. The Company is committed to bringing added value to shareholders and stakeholders.
The Changes to the Members of the Boards
In the EGMS Year 2024, the Shareholders have approved the Change of ANTAM’s Management. On this EGMS, Mr. F.X. Sutijastoto was honourably dismissed as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner.
ANTAM’s Board of Commissioners and Directors thanked Mr. F.X. Sutijastoto for his dedication and best contribution to the Company during his tenure in office as a member of Board of Commissioners of ANTAM.
On this EGMS, the Shareholders approved to appoint Mr. Rauf Purnama as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner. Therefore, the new Management is expected to continue ANTAM's commitment to maintain the growth and solid performance.

Nico added, the change in management is expected to bring new spirit and strengthen ANTAM's steps to achieve the targets. “We are optimistic that the new composition of ANTAM’s Management will further strengthen ANTAM's steps to become a globally competitive and innovative mining company,” he said.
