ANTAM Receives Indonesia Good Corporate Governance Award III 2017

Jakarta, 15 November, 2017 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX - ATM; IDX – ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce the Company has received recognition at the Indonesia Good Corporate Governance Award III 2017 (IGCGA III 2017).  ANTAM received the first place in Top 20 Best GCG Companies in Indonesia as well as ranked first in the Listed SOE category with the score of 99.70.

The awards were presented by the Economic Review CEO Irlisa Rachmadiana and Chairman of the Scoring Judges Herris B. Simandjuntak during the awarding ceremony of IGCGA III 2017 at Tiara Ballroom, Crown Plaza, South Jakarta.

ANTAM’s President Director Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo said:

"As a natural resources based company we are committed to observing the implementation of good corporate governance in managing Indonesia’s natural resources. These awards reflect our commitment in the implementation of the GCG principles throughout our operational activities, in addition to the implementation of good mining practices."

The IGCGA III 2017 recognizes entities with outstanding GCG implementation. Judging of the winners was based on objective, fair and independent assessment. 

Assessment of IGCGA III 2017 included: Company’s audited financial statement (25%), Annual Report (40%), GCG Infrastructure (20%), GCG Soft Structure (10%), and Disclosure of Company’s challenges (5%).
