ANTAM Receives Top IT & TELCO Award 2017

Jakarta, November 7, 2017 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX - ATM; IDX – ANTM; ANTAM) announces the Company has received TOP IT & TELCO Awards 2017 for The Best TOP IT Implementation 2017 in Mining Sector category. The award recognises companies which are successful in the implementation of information and communication technology (ICT) in improving corporate performance in mining sector.

ANTAM’s Operations Director, Hari Widjajanto said: 
“The award recognizes ANTAM’s management and implementation of information technology. Inline with the rapid development of information technology, the implementation of information technology in industrial sector is mandatory in supporting the company development. The ICT implementation in ANTAM will improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency.”

The mining sector is one of the nine categories in the TOP IT Corporate Best Practice 2017. The event was held by ITech Magazine in cooperation with ASPEKTI (Association of Telematics Consulting Firm of Indonesia), IKTII (Information of Technology Consultants Association of Indonesia), MASTEL (Telematics Community of Indonesia), ALVARA (Marketing Research Agency), ATSI (Association of Cellular Telecommunication of Indonesia) and FORTI (SOE IT Forum). The event was also supported by the Ministry of Communication and Information.

Assessment is based on questionnaire, interview and customers recommendations. The award took samples from 1,550 respondents in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Medan and
Makassar.
