ANTAM and Soe Support the Implementation of Soes Healthy Village in Southeast Sulawesi

South Konawe, April 9, 2019 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) through a synergy of SOEs with DKB Shipyard and Engineering, the subsidiary entity of PT Dok & Perkapalan Kodja Bahari (Persero) and PT Sang Hyang Seri (Persero) (SHS ) held a SOEs Healthy Village in Sabulakoa Village, Sabulakoa Subdistrict, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

The program was opened by ANTAM's Director of Human Capital & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Johan N.B. Nababan and was attended by Assistant II of South Konawe Regent, Commander of Haluoleo Airport, Sabulakoa District Head, ANTAM Management of Southeast Sulawesi Nickel Mining Business Unit, Landono-Sabulakoa District Police Chief, and Deputy Commander of the Landono-Sabulakoa Military Rayon.

ANTAM's Director of Human Capital & CSR, Johan N.B. Nababan said:

"Health and hygiene are among the sectors in the community social responsibility program that concern us. Through this activity titled the SOEs Healthy Village Program, we hope to be able to coexist with the community, especially in the Sabulakoa Village area to jointly turn this village into a healthy and viable village for the growth and development of our next generation."

Furthermore, Johan also said that this program was one of the programs launched by the Ministry of SOEs to celebrate the 21st Anniversary of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). "We, as SOEs, under the leadership of the Ministry of SOEs have an obligation to realize social responsibility to the community both in the operational areas of our company and other regions," said Johan.

This SOEs Healthy Village Program includes Environmental Clean-Up, Trees Planting, Public Facilities and Infrastructure Improvement activities, as well as the Activation Promo of Link Aja!.

For Trees Planting, ANTAM contributed by providing 500 Mango, Durian and Terembesi plant seeds. These tree seeds are distributed to local residents to be planted in the yard and on the sides of the road.

In addition to the SOEs Healthy Village program, there are also sales of affordable food packages worth IDR 42,500 which sell for IDR 10,000 through the Link Aja! application. For this activity, ANTAM has provided 1,000 food packages. While for the Improvement of Public Facilities and Infrastructures, such as painting schools and worship place and also piping clean water distribution to the local community.

Beside ANTAM, DKB and SHS, the SOEs Healthy Village program is also supported by Jasa Raharja, which provides free health screening services with one unit of Traffic Health Car.

On the other hand, representing the regional government of Assistant II of the South Konawe Regent, Armansyah expressed his appreciation for this program.

"The regional government is very supportive and enthusiastic about the activities held at Sabulakoa. "The Sabulakoa community feels grateful for being appointed (as the place for the SOEs Healthy Village )," said Armansyah.

In line with Armansyah, residents of Sabulakoa Village Syamsul also expressed their appreciation and hopes for a similar program going forward.

"I express my deepest gratitude for the help because honestly this is a new area of ​​regional and we don't expect it," he said regarding CSR activities that had never been done in the region before. "Hopefully the assistance given by ANTAM to us in order to celebrate the anniversary of the Ministry of SOEs can be useful and sustainable for the community," he said.
