Jakarta, March 17th 2016 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX -ATM; IDX – ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce that the company has relocated its Makassar Logam Mulia (LM) Gold Boutique in Makassar. The Makassar Gold Boutique Makassar moved from the previous location at Menara Bosowa to the new location at Graha Pena Building, 1st floor, Jl. Urip Sumoharjo No. 20, Pampang, Panakkukang, Makassar.
ANTAM’s Corporate Secretary Tri Hartono said:
"The relocation aims to increase gold sales and services to our customers. In the new Graha Pena location, customers can receive both sales and depository services, as well as purchasing gold products with batik motif. We will offer the depository services to our customers in Makassar at the end of March and customers can receive preliminary information on the services. "
ANTAM has increased its gold distribution channel through the opening of gold boutiques since 2014. This is one of ANTAM’s strategy to increase sales volume as well as supporting the company’s nickel and bauxite businesses.
ANTAM’s gold boutiques are located in Indonesia’s key cities of Jakarta (2 outlets), Bandung, Surabaya (2 outlets), Makassar, Palembang, Semarang, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Medan, Denpasar and Yogyakarta. These gold boutiques also sell gold with batik motif which was launched on December 16th, 2015. ANTAM’s gold with batik motif is an exclusive gold products, engraved with Indonesian batik motifs which represent Indonesian culture.
ANTAM’s gold revenues in 2015 amounted to Rp7.31 trillion, an increase of 49% compared to 2014. ANTAM produces gold from its Pongkor and Cibaliung mines. ANTAM also refines gold from domestic third parties in its Logam Mulia Precious Metals Processing and Refinery Business Unit which is Indonesia’s only LBMA accredited facility.
