ANTAM and The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Comission Sign Integrated Prevention Commitmen

Jakarta, 2 August 2017—PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk  (ANTAM; ASX – ATM; IDX – ANTM) is pleased to announce that the Company together with the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi, KPK) have signed the Integrated Prevention Commitment to strengthen the Company’s initiative in preventing corruption and gratification. The signing also marks the Company’s support of the National National Integrity System. The commitment was signed by ANTAM’s President Director Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo and KPK’s Gratification Director Giri  Suprapdiono.

ANTAM’s President Director, Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo said: “ANTAM is committed in the implementation of best practices in good corporate governance throughout its activities, including prevention of corruption and gratification practices. The initiatives include formulation of Company’s Policy and development of human capital assets with integrity. Through the signing, ANTAM believes in establishing synergy and strengthening its stakeholders in the implementation of good corporate governance practice inline with existing regulations.” In the implementation of good corporate governance practice,   ANTAM has a policy on the Prohibition of Grant and Gratuity or Gratification, a policy on the Submission and Management of the State Administrator Property Report (LHKPN), code of conduct,   regular internal socialization, e-procurement system and information and technology based applications with check and balance mechanism. 
 
Further, ANTAM plans to develop a more unified integrity system as well as evaluating existing policies to be more comprehensive and establishing supporting programs to ensure the availability of  resources. ANTAM aims to strengthen corruption and gratification  prevention efforts through these initiatives.
