Jakarta, October 12, 2020 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) together with the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) National Disaster Task Force for West Kalimantan, implement the Socialization of Adaptation to New Normal-Together “SOEs, Protect the Nation” which began on Thursday, October 8, 2020.
ANTAM's Human Resources Director, Luki Setiawan Suardi said:
“ANTAM continually supports and actively participates in the Socialization of Adaptation to New Normal as an effort to increase public awareness of the importance of preventing the spread of Covid-19 around the Company's operational areas.”
Socialization promotes the community to wear a mask in outdoor activity, prevent touching the eyes, nose, and mouth, physical distancing of more than 1 meter, wash hands frequently with soap, and continuously follow the information updates from responsible sources.
ANTAM as the Coordinator of West Kalimantan SOEs Task Force, collaborated in the program that was carried out simultaneously in 34 provinces in public places such as bus stations and traditional markets using creative content such as pamphlets, sandwich-man, and other communications material.
For West Kalimantan Province, the Ministry of SOEs is targeting as many as 10,000 masks. ANTAM contributed 6,000 masks and PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk for 4,000 masks. On top of those targets, the West Kalimantan SOEs Task Force added 6,000 masks, bringing 16,000 masks that were assisted in distribution by Perum DAMRI.
This program was conducted through a collaborative effort between PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero)/ IPC, PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), PT Pegadaian (Persero), PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIII, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, AirNav Indonesia, Perum LKBN Antara, PT ASABRI (Persero), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia, PT Jasa Raharja (Persero), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), PT Sucofindo (Persero) and PT Inhutani I.
