ANTAM's Clarification of the News of 68 Covid-19 Cases

Jakarta, July 28, 2020 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) stated that as of July 26, 2020, there were no positive confirmed cases of ANTAM's workers and outsourcing personnel at the Jakarta Head Office. The news that mentions 68 cases of Covid-19 at ANTAM on July 27, 2020, is incorrect and not in accordance with the Company data.

ANTAM is always committed to ensuring the operational activities of all business units running on track continue to run and maintaining operational activities in reducing economic impacts around the Company's area. ANTAM carries out strict health protocols in the mine and plant areas, starting from providing sinks outside the building, hand sanitizers, wearing masks during work hours, implementing physical distancing, and providing supplementary vitamins and food supplements employees, checking temperatures before work, conducting rapid tests and swab tests to ensure all workers are free from Covid-19.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in Indonesia, ANTAM is committed to assisting the government in breaking the Covid-19 chain. In addition to conducting rapid and swab tests on all ANTAM employees in the operating area, through the CSR program, ANTAM also conducts Covid-19 checks on communities in the operation area.
