ANTAM Receives Four Awards In Indonesia Sustainability Award 2010

Jakarta, December 17th, 2010 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ANTAM; ASX - ATM; IDX - ANTM) is pleased to announce it receives four awards in the prestigious Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award (ISRA) 2010. The awards were presented on December 15, 2010 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Pacific Place, Jakarta.

ANTAM receives the recognition of The Best Sustainability Report (SR) - Overall, Best SR in Category A (Agriculture, Plantation, Mining and Basic Industry and Chemicals Companies), 1st Runner Up of Best Sustainability Reporting on Website and the Commendation for Sustainability Reporting: Assurance Practices.

Former Minister of Environment Sarwono Kusumaatmadja and the Chairman of Judges from the National Center for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR) Hardin Syah presented the awards to ANTAM’s Senior Manager of CSR Ibrahim S.

ANTAM’s Director of General Affairs and CSR , Denny Maulasa, said:

"These awards recognised ANTAM’s international standards of social and environmental responsibility reporting. We are committed to the implementation of CSR and environmental programs and are proud to report our performance annually as part of our commitment to transparency and accountability."

The annual ISRA ceremony is organized by NCSR and Indonesian-Netherlands Association. The judges use GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines version 3.0 in evaluating the companies’ sustainability reports.

In 2009, ANTAM received two awards: the 2nd Runner Up for Best Sustainability Report and Best Sustainability Reporting on Website.

The judging panel is made up from a list of experienced and respected figures from Indonesian Institute of Management Accountants, the Ministry of Environment, the Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory- Indonesian Ministry of Finance, the Indonesia Stock Exchange, universities, the National Committee on Governance, mass media, and nongovernmental organisations.
