Jakarta, July 14, 2023 – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM), member of PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero) (MIND ID) - the State-Owned Enterprise Holding of the Mining Industry, is pleased to announce that the Company received the 2023 Marketeers Sustainable Marketing Excellence Award, on July 12, 2023. ANTAM received two awards, the Local Ecotourism Program of the Year category through the West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit and the Local Reforestation Program of the Year category through the Gold Mining Business Unit.

The award for the Local Ecotourism Program of the Year category through the West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit was obtained for the implementation of the Laet Lake Ecotourism Development Program, which focuses on four aspects, namely social, well-being, nature, and economics. Meanwhile, the award for the Local Reforestation Program of the Year category through the Gold Mining Business Unit was obtained for the implementation of the Pepeling Cisangku Program. Pepeling Cisangku is a community empowerment program based on environmental preservation, which consists of area restoration, economic empowerment activities, and participatory area patrols.
The 2023 Marketeers Sustainable Marketing Excellence Award is given to the companies that meet five assessment criteria, namely: program creativity compared to similar programs, business model alignment, implementation reach, social/environmental/economic impact, and also implementation sustainability and consistency of the program in the long term.
