ANTAM Receives CGPI Awards as The Most Trusted Companies in 2017

Jakarta, December 27, 2018 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) is pleased to announce the Company has received recognition as The Most Trusted Company based on Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) at the Indonesia Most Trusted Companies Award 2017. The CGPI award was presented on the awarding ceremony at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta on December 19, 2018.

ANTAM has received the CGPI Award as the Most Trusted Company for ten consecutive year since 2008. ANTAM is the only Company that has been part of the CGPI assessment for 17 consecutive years.

The research and ranking of GCG perception is a joint event held by The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) with SWA Magazine. The event recognizes Public Companies, State Owned Enterprises, Regional Government Owned Enterprises, Banking, Private Entities as well as Islamic Financial Institutions.

Assessment stages of CGPI Award involved : (1) analysis of instruments and documents, with the method of filling in questionnaires (self assessment) and assessing the completeness of company documents; and (2) observation through executive exposure and discussion with Company Organ. The assessment aspects of the 2017 CGPI include (1) governance structure; (2) governance process; and (3) governance outcome.
