ANTAM Receives Subroto Award, Good Mining Practices Award and Dharma Karya Award from The Ministry of Energy And Mineral Resources In 2021

Jakarta, October 1, 2021 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM), member of Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) – the State-Owned Enterprise Holding of the Mining Industry, is pleased to announce that the Company received the Subroto Award, Good Mining Practices Award and Dharma Karya Award initiated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. In commemoration of the 76th Mining and Energy Anniversary on 28-29 September 2021.

The awards were presented online by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Arifin Tasrif and the Director General of Mineral and Coal, Mr. Ridwan Djamaluddin. This is an appreciation for ANTAM's participation in supporting the achievement of economic growth and the good mining practices implementation in the Company's operational activities.

ANTAM's Corporate Secretary Division Head, Mr. Yulan Kustiyan said:
“The appreciation from all of the Company's stakeholders is a reflection of the implementation of ANTAM's commitment to good corporate social and environmental responsibility as well as the fulfilment of the obligation to pay Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP). ANTAM continues to be committed to support the improvement in Energy and Mineral Resource sector to provide return for community.”

At the Subroto Awards ceremony held on September 28, 2021, ANTAM received an award as the Company with the Highest Compliance Rate for PNBP Payments of the SOEs mining business license group. PNBP is calculated as one of the State Revenues in the State Budget (APBN) in addition to taxes. Thus, ANTAM participates in achieving economic growth, increasing national income, and supporting the achievement of the goal of financial stability.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources also gives awards to mining business entities that have implemented Good Mining Practices. ANTAM received 6 (six) awards in various categories at this award through its Business Units and Subsidiaries.

At the Good Mining Practices Award, ANTAM through PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya received a Trophi as and Aditama rating in the category of Technical Management of Mineral and Coal Mining. Furthermore, in the Mineral Mining Safety Management category, the North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit received the Utama rating and PT Gag Nickel received the Pratama rating.

In the Mineral and Coal Mining Environmental Management category, ANTAM's Gold Mining Business Unit received the Aditama rating and PT Cibaliung Sumberdaya received the Pratama rating. Meanwhile, in the Mineral and Coal Conservation Management category, the Gold Mining Business Unit received the Utama rating.

In addition in 2021, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources also held the Dharma Karya Energy and Mineral Resources Award which was given as an appreciation to individuals or institutions/companies who were very instrumental in their thoughts, policies, decisions, actions, and development, as well as new discoveries in the energy and mineral resources sector in providing the  significant impact on national development, especially in the energy and mineral resources sector.

Three teams from ANTAM received the Dharma Karya Muda award, including: (1) GKM Front: Succeeded in increasing the productivity of ore sludge processing using the dumping method by 60% with the Front Conveyor Design. The GKM Front team consisted of Dadam Mustopa, Arsyil Dwinda, Haris, Dedi Supardi and Yana Mulyana; (2) PSS Pomin UGTD: Successfully accelerated the Single Tube drilling process in the rock formation/boulder in the Tapunopaka nickel exploration area by making a mini drill pump. The PSS Pomin UGTD team consists of Tulus Semedie, I Nyoman Terisna, Angger Imas A. (3) QCC Roda Tiga: Successfully eliminated the use of Marine Fuel Oil (MFO) in the Condition Ore production process by making the Zero MFO method in the Rotary Dryer Work Unit 3. The QCC Roda Tiga team consists of Martin L., LD Ajunaib, Moh. Fahrul M., Dwi Novianto, Ansar A.
