ANTAM Receives The Best Overall In Good Corporate Governance Award 2010 From The Indonesia Institute For Corporate Directorship

The selection was based upon an independent survey and assessment on the implementation of ANTAM’s good corporate governance (GCG) principles. ANTAM was ranked first on the survey. The survey takes into account key GCG principles such as the protection of shareholder rights, the equitable treatment of shareholders, the role of stakeholders, disclosure and transparency, and the responsibilities of the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors.

The IICD survey was based upon the GCG Guidelines from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). IICD conducted its independent assessment based on the public information available on the company’s website or the website of the stock exchange regulators.

ANTAM’s President Director Alwin Syah Lubis, said:

The 2010 Best Overall in GCG Award from the IICD was the second time in a row for ANTAM since 2009.
