ANTAM Receives The Pioneer Of Forest Reclamation Award From The Forestry Ministry

Jakarta, November 25, 2013 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX - ATM; IDX - ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce that the company has received the Award of Pioneer of Forest Reclamation on Former Mining Area from the Forestry Ministry of Indonesia. The award was delivered during the National Tree Planting Day and Month of Tree Planting Movement (HMPI-BMN) held today in Bali.

The award was received by ANTAM's President Director, Tato Miraza from the Minister of Forestry of Indonesia, Zulkifli Hasan in front of the President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, at Karang Asem, Bali.

ANTAM's President Director Tato Miraza said:
"The award recognizes our excellence in the environmental management practices. The award will motivate us further in strengthening our commitment in proper environmental management based on good mining practice principles."

The award is part of the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry's initiatives to recognize business entities and individuals with strong commitment toward proper environmental management practices.

In 2011, ANTAM received similar award which was held on November 28, 2011.
