Jakarta, January 3, 2023 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) member of Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) – the State-Owned Enterprise Holding of the Mining Industry, is pleased to announce that ANTAM recorded positive assessment results on the Company Performance Rating in Environmental Management (PORPER) for the 2021-2022 period. ANTAM through its Business Units and Subsidiaries received 3 (three) Green PROPER Ratings and 4 (four) Blue PROPER Ratings from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia.

ANTAM's program is in carrying out environmental management and solving social problems and other environmental issues in an optimal, responsible and sustainable manner.”
ANTAM achieved 3 (three) Green PROPER Ratings through the Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit, Gold Mining Business Unit and West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit. This achievement signifies the Company's commitment to continuously improve the effectiveness of environmental management by complying with the laws and regulations, and several other efforts such as energy efficiency, emission reduction, implementing Hazardous & Toxic and Non-Hazardous & Non-Toxic waste management innovations, water efficiency and reducing pollution load, maintaining biodiversity, Corporate Social Responsibility management, Disaster Responsiveness and Social Innovation (SROI) programs.
Meanwhile, the Blue PROPER Rating was received by the Kolaka Nickel Mining Business Unit and North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit as well as the Company's subsidiaries, namely PT Gag Nikel and PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina. This indicates that the Company has implemented environmental management in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
