Jakarta, June 25, 2019 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) through the North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit distribute loan funds of Partnership Program with total of Rp4 billion in Buli, North Maluku. The Partnership Program aims the development of Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s) in order to support the improvement of the community's economy. Distribution is officially carried out by ANTAM's Director of Human Resources, Mr. Luki Setiawan Suardi on June 15, 2019.
ANTAM's Director of Human Resources, Luki Setiawan Suardi, said:
"The Partnership Program is an implementation of corporate social responsibility, especially in local economic development through the fostering SME’s. This program is the Company's support to realize the community economic independence, especially around the Company's operational areas."
The first phase of the Partnership Program loan funds was distributed to 133 foster partners consisting of several business sectors including trading, animal husbandry, services, plantations, industry and fisheries.
Since 2009, ANTAM has distributed a Partnership Program in Buli, North Maluku with total of Rp35 billion with a total number of foster partners 1,340 people. The Company is committed to continuously contribute to society and the government by providing guidance to micro and small entrepreneurs, especially in the operational area.
On the same occasion, North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit also held Halal Bihalal activities in Buli, North Maluku. This activity was attended of the East Halmahera Regional Communication Forum, including the East Halmahera Regional Government and the Regional Work Unit, East Halmahera Regional Police Chief, Maba Police Chief, Danramil 1505-04, Maba Sub-District Chief and Maba City Head, Village Heads, Community Leaders and Religious Leaders.
