ANTAM To Distribute Dividend Of The Net Profit Of 2010 Of Rp673.4 Billion Or Rp70.71 Per Share

Jakarta, June 14th 2011 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ANTAM) (IDX-ANTM; ASX-ATM) is pleased to announce it has held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) today at the JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta.


ANTAM’s shareholders approved the Annual Report of the Board of Directors, including the Audited Financial Statements and the Oversight Report of the Board of Commissioners for the year ended December 31st, 2010. ANTAM’s shareholders also approved the Annual Report of the Partnership and Community Development Program for the year ended December 31st, 2010.

Among the resolutions of the AGM, it was resolved to pay a cash dividend in the amount of Rp673.4 billion, or 40% of ANTAM's profits after tax of the year ended December 31st, 2010. The dividend is equivalent to Rp70.71 per share.

ANTAM’s shareholders agreed with the recommendation to appoint the Public Accountant Firm Purwantono, Suherman and Surja, member firm of Ernst & Young Global to audit ANTAM’s annual financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31st, 2011. ANTAM’s shareholders also agreed to appoint the Public Accountant Firm Asep Rahmansyah & Rekan to audit the financial statements of the Partnership and Community Development Program for the year ended December 31st, 2011.

ANTAM’s shareholders postponed to increase the pension benefits for ANTAM’s pensioners until funding ratio reached 110%.

ANTAM’s shareholders ratified the appointment of Drs. Sri Mulyanto, M.Sc. and Prof. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro, SE, MUP, Ph.D. as members of ANTAM’s Board of Commissioners. Mr. Sri Mulyanto, currently serves as Assistant Deputy of Services Business III at the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises. Mr. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro currently serves as the Head of Fiscal Policy of the Finance Ministry.
