State-owned Enterprises for the Nation Program: ANTAM Handovers the Sangia Ni Bandera Airport and Other Facilities on the 70th Anniversary of Indonesia's Independence

Jakarta, August 21, 2015 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX: ATM; IDX: ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce that in celebration of 70th Anniversary of Indonesia's Independence, the company conducted a series of activities together with other state-owned enterprises (SOEs) under the coordination of the Ministry of SOE. The activities were part of the "SOE for the Nation" program and were conducted on the 16th and 17th of August 2015 in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi.

ANTAM's President Director Tedy Badrujaman said:
"As a good corporate citizen, ANTAM participates in the SOE for the Nation program. The program aims to increase the public awareness of the SOEs contribution in developing the nation. Working together with the the Ministry of SOE as well as other SOEs, the program reflects the role of SOEs as agents of development in improving the welfare of the people."

 During the program, ANTAM launched several activities related to the development of infrastructure, public facilities and education. The activities included the construction of the Sangia Ni Bandera airport terminal building in Kolaka, groundbreaking of security facility at the Kolaka beach, rehabilitation of Kolaka and Hakakutobu seawall to preserve the beach, construction of Pesohua village water culvert and rehabilitation of the bridge and road at Totobo village. ANTAM also officiated the scholarship program to Kolaka students and started construction of a laboratory facility in Kolaka.

In addition to the above mentioned activities, ANTAM also conducted programs as stipulated by the Ministry of SOE. ANTAM was appointed as the lead organizer of the celebration of Indonesia's Independence in the Southeast Sulawesi, together with PT Kawasan Industri Medan (PT KIM) and PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) 11. The celebration activities included 8KM walk, independence ceremony, bazaars, laboratory school aids, rehabilitation of veteran's houses and public games. ANTAM's President Director Tedy Badrujaman, the Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries of the Ministry of SOE Badya Mulyanto, President Director of PT KIM R. Achmad Budiono and President Director of PTPN 11 Dolly P. Pulungan also made a visit to ANTAM's ferronickel plant of the Southeast Sulawesi Nickel Mining Business Unit. All of ANTAM's business units/units also conducted similar programs at their respective location.
