To welcome the 78th Indonesian Independence Day, PT ANTAM Tbk (“ANTAM”) through the North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit, held an ANTAM Service activity with the theme "Greet the Young Generation Through Dedication and Inspiration," which took place on August 12, 2023, at Gamesan Public Elementary School, Gamesan village, Maba District, East Halmahera Regency.
This activity presents a variety of professions, such as Doctors, Police, Soldiers, Bankers, and Agricultural Extension, including Engineers from ANTAM and working with the local youth community (Maba Inspiratif). Present on this occasion the management of ANTAM’s North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit, namely General Manager (Ery Budiman), Corporate Social Responsibility Manager (Yacob Sampe), Assistant Manager Community Development (Krisno Budiharto), Assistant Manager Civil and Construction (M. Marwazy Anas), as well as professional representatives engineers from the civil, safety, mining and occupational health departments. This activity aims to introduce work professions and provide learning motivation to students at Gamesan Public Elementary School. This activity was opened directly by the General Manager of ANTAM’s North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit, Ery Budiman, conveying that this activity is an effort to provide national insight and motivation for students to achieve goals by giving examples and direct experience from participants..
This activity was enthusiastically welcomed by all parties involved, starting from the school, parents, Gamesan Village Government, Maba District Regional Government, professional participants (12 professional fields), and all Gamesan Elementary School students, totalling more than 90 people. On the same occasion, the Head of Gamesan Village also expressed appreciation for ANTAM's presence in the community, especially in the Maba District area.
The management of the North Maluku Nickel Mining Business Unit is committed to continuing to create similar activities as a form of corporate social responsibility in improving the quality of human resources in the environment around the company's area.
