ANTAM also has an environmental policy called ANTAM Green Standards (AGS) that consist of 14 standards. The AGS is a guideline for all business units, development project units and subsidiaries in their ongoing planning, identification, risk management and environmental monitoring. These AGS guidelines are implemented based on PT ANTAM Tbk Board of Directors Decree No. 102.K/2632/DAT/2023 concerning Environmental and Post-mining Management (ANTAM Green Standard) at PT ANTAM Tbk. Moreover, ANTAM has implemented the ISO 14001 environmental management system to maintain accountability for environmental management performance in all business units. As for energy management system, through West Kalimantan Bauxite Mining Business Unit, ANTAM obtained ISO 50001 from PT TUV NORD Indonesia in December 2023.
In implementing environmental impact management in all work areas, ANTAM is guided by:

• Environmental Impact Analysis Documents (AMDAL)
• Environmental Management Plans (RKL)
• Environmental Monitoring Plans (RPL)
• Post-mining Plans
As a company managing mineral resources in nickel, gold, and bauxite commodities, ANTAM has a strong commitment to implement Good Mining Practices professionally and measurably based on the prevailing rules and regulations, starting from exploration, mining, and processing.
This commitment is in line with ANTAM’s Mission 2023, namely optimizing resources by prioritizing sustainability, occupational safety and environmental sustainability. ANTAM also strengthens this commitment with four priority Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the environmental sector, namely Affordable and Clean Energy, Climate Action (Goal 13), Life Below Water (Goal 14), Life on Land (Goal 15).
